Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle SCM modules, with a focus on supply chain processes and system configuration. The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful implementation and optimization of Oracle SCM applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements related to supply chain processes and translate them into functional specifications for Oracle SCM solutions.
• Configure Oracle SCM modules (such as Inventory, Procurement, Product Management, Order Management, and Logistics) to meet business needs.
• Lead or assist with the implementation, upgrades, and integration of Oracle SCM applications.
• Provide expertise in system design, business process optimization, and data migration strategies.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Oracle SCM systems, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any issues or bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide training and support to end-users, helping them effectively use Oracle SCM tools.
• Document business processes, configurations, and system processes for future reference.
• Participate in system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with the latest Oracle SCM features and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Oracle SCM modules – Procurement (suppliers’ portal, negotiations, Purchase Order, Purchase Request), Inventory, Product management.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, best practices, and optimization strategies.
• Experience with system implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting within Oracle SCM.
• Good to have knowledge in one or few of the modules – Oracle ERP Cloud: Cash Management, Fixed assets. PPM Cloud: Project Financials, Grants management.
• Familiarity with data migration tools, integration techniques, and reporting capabilities in Oracle SCM.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Oracle SCM certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist) is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle PPM Cloud Applications.
• Project management experience or certifications (PMP, Agile) is a plus.
