About the Role

We are seeking a result-oriented Head of Strategic Sales with a proven track record in the SaaS industry. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in scaling our SaaS operations, crafting strategic sales initiatives, and building a robust customer base. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires someone with entrepreneurial drive, a deep understanding of the SaaS ecosystem, and proven expertise in domestic and international business development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Planning & Market Expansion

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify business opportunities, target audiences, and industry trends within the UK/US/Indian market.
  • Develop and implement strategic go-to-market plans.
  • Build a detailed competitor intelligence framework to refine our positioning and offerings.

 

End-to-End Sales Leadership

  • Own and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and client engagement to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Drive platform sales and product sales by positioning solutions effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies and enhance sales effectiveness.

 

Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Drive customer acquisition by showcasing our product value to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Be a trusted advisor to clients, proactively addressing their needs and fostering business growth.

 

Product Expertise & Pricing Strategy

  • Strategically position and present products to different market segments to maximize value.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies to capture market share while maintaining profitability.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product team for continuous improvement.
  • Check competitor’s Pricing, Features, Demo, and SM strategy pertaining to Sales & devise a holistic strategy & propose it to Management.

 

Leadership & Thought Leadership

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions.
  • Act as a forerunner, identifying new opportunities, trends, and solutions to stay ahead in the competitive SaaS landscape.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven track record of 10+ years in SaaS business development, demonstrating consistent success in achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong expertise in platform sales, product sales, and SaaS ecosystem.
  • Experience in product positioning, competitive pricing, and market penetration strategies.
  • Leadership qualities with a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong expertise in domestic and international sales market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills to influence C-suite and key stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and drive actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales methodologies.
