A Pipeline Requisition in Oracle Fusion HCM is a non-position-specific job requisition used to build a talent pool for future hiring needs. It allows recruiters to source, engage, and prequalify candidates before a job opening is officially available.
Unlike standard job requisitions that are tied to a specific vacancy, pipeline requisitions help organizations proactively identify and nurture candidates, reducing hiring time when a position becomes available.
Why Use Pipeline Requisitions?
- Faster Hiring Process – Pre-screened candidates reduce time-to-fill.
- Improved Workforce Planning – Ensures a steady flow of talent.
- Higher Recruitment Efficiency – Less dependency on job postings.
- Stronger Candidate Relationships – Builds long-term engagement.
Key Features of Pipeline Requisitions
- Talent Pool Creation – Helps maintain a database of pre-screened candidates.
- Proactive Recruitment – Reduces last-minute hiring pressure.
- Better Candidate Engagement – Keeps potential hires engaged over time.
- Auto-matching with Open Jobs – Matches pipeline candidates to open requisitions.
- Streamlined Approval Process – Works with Oracle’s approval workflow.
- Data-Driven Insights – Provides analytics on talent pool readiness.
Note: Any Standard Requisition we are using to link with the Pipeline Requisition should be in the Open – Not Posted status.
