A smart way to act on Performance pending notifications
Oracle has come up with wide variety of tools to effectively address the business needs. Approval management helps to define approval for task as per organization policies. When the task is performed in the application, notification alert assigned to user to act on in the bell icon of global header. Number on the notification or bell icon says that how many pending notifications user is having at that time.
Certain notifications has time limit how long it can be in the notification work area. Performance notifications are pending for approval should be acted on or before 180 days. Once a notification is not acted on after 180 days, the notification is withdrawn. There is no configuration option available to set value different than 180 days and there is also no option available to turn-it off. Employee will receive withdrawn notifications.
To avoid this, In Oracle HCM, HR can extract the pending notifications which are older than the specific date. So that Admin or HR can act on the pending notifications before it gets withdrawn in the system.

- User should have Human Resource Specialist Role.
