With the release of PUM 36, Oracle PeopleSoft has delivered modernization and self-service feature of Health and Safety Module.
Every organization, wants their employees to be healthy and safe in the current Pandemic situation. Health & Safety module facilitates organizations to capture and monitor incidents, injuries, infection and threatening incidents that arise – at workplace especially in the time of COVID -19 to minimize risk.
Users can access Fluid Health and Safety tile from their laptop or mobile devices. They can create an incident report and submit the required details.
As per the configuration settings, the approval can be routed to the Administrator/Manager and the Administrator will be notified in the Notification bar. The administrator has permission to approve or pushback the request.
Manage Health and Safety Dashboard
PeopleSoft Fluid Health & Safety helps administrators monitor setup & administrative activities from a single dashboard Manage Health & Safety. Manage Health & Safety Dashboard contains three tiles under Workforce Administrator

Manage Incidents Tile
Manage incidents tile is a collection of incident management components.

Using the collection of components enables administrators create and maintain incidents, claims and rehabilitation plans, verify employees/non- employees involved in incidents as witness, record medical exam results and track related details.

The collection of these components enables administrators run process and creates various Incident Reports, Process and Collect Data, WCB Web Services CAN, Monitor Web Services CAN, OSHA Injury/Illness Reporting, Employee Work Restrictions.

Configure Health & Safety Tile

Configure Health and Safety tile is a collection of administrative component that enables access define setup data and configure Employee Self-Service settings for Health and Safety.
Using the collection of this components enables administrators define Accident/Injury Info, Define Hazardous Environments, Define Medical Services, Define Medical Data, Define Work Restrictions, Self Service, WCB Web Service CAN, configure Incidents for all different Types as per the organization requirement like Enable Approvals Workflow, Email Notification, Push Notification, etc.

ESS View of Health and Safety Tile
To report any incident by the end-users, employee can navigate to the below and enter the necessary incident information.

Users can
- Click on the Report Incident button and select the appropriate Incident Type and click on the continue button. “My Incidents” grid displays all the submitted reports and their status.

- Enter the Incident Details and Incident Location in Step 1 and click on the Save button. Proceed to the next step, click on the Next button.

- Select the Radio button according to the Incident in Step 2, enter the Injury/Illness Details, Additional Details and click on the Save button.
- Proceed to the next step, click on the next button.

- Enter the Workplace Contact and Other Contacts in Step 3 and Click on the Save button. Proceed to the next step click on the Next button.

- Upload the Attachment for the Incident Report in Step 4 and click on the Save button. Proceed to the next step click on the Next button.

- Review the provided details for the Incident and Submit the Report. To Submit the Report, click on the Submit button.

- The employee can see all the submitted reports and their status in the My Incident grid to get more details for the Approver click on the Edit/View button. Once the Approver Approve the Request, the status will change according to it.

Approving incidents
- The Administrator/Manager will receive a notification Action for the Incident Approval.
