If an HR representative prefers to remind the employees who don’t have profile details such as education, skills, and certification, it takes a brief exercise to identify such employees and chase them to do it. But this is made easier with the NUDGE feature in Oracle Fusion HCM. All it takes is just 2 minutes. Yes, you heard it right it’s 2 minutes.
In this blog, we will explore Push Reminder with Oracle Nudge in Oracle Fusion HCM 23A.
Oracle Nudge
Oracle Nudge is a powerful new tool introduced in Oracle Fusion HCM 23A Update and designed to make push notifications more effective and easier to manage. With Oracle Nudge, businesses can automate the process of sending push notifications and get insights into how customers are responding to their messages.
Let’s see how HR can configure such requirements in the system with the below example.
- STEP 1: To enable the notification – Go to My Client Groups > Employment > Nudge Configuration.

- STEP 2: Click Add on the Nudge Configuration page to add a new module.

STEP 3: Nudge type gets open with a list of modules. From that list, select Talent Profile.

STEP 4: Select the reason from the drop-down, why the employee hasn’t updated the talent profile for a period of time.

- STEP 5: Edit the configuration name in the description as required and set the status to Active.
For Instant: “Employee hasn’t updated their talent profile for a time period.”

- STEP 6: Enter the number of days that can elapse since the last update to the talent profile.
Important: The nudge is triggered when the employee doesn’t update their talent profile even after this period.

- STEP 7: Click Add in the Channels section and select the channel types applicable to you like Email, Touch-points card, Check-in insight, or Journey. Setting it active and using the default content or providing the user-defined content, Click OK to save it.

- STEP 8: Configuration is saved to enable time-based notifications.

- Step 9: Employee receives notification mail similar to the one shown below and can take action on his/her talent profile further.
