Introduction:
With the help of Gen AI features in Cloud HCM, workers may now receive embedded AI support that is intended to cut down on task completion times significantly, free up resources for more strategic and complicated work, and contribute to the creation of a more satisfying work environment—all while maintaining the security of confidential and sensitive data.
Utilize AI to help you set performance and development goals that are both relevant and successful. Click the Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assist button after entering a specific goal name to make use of this function for managers or employees. The goal name you gave is used by the application to automatically construct the goal information.
Steps to enable:
- Enable the profile options
- Enable the AI to assist button using Visual Builder studio
I. Enable the Profile options
1. Navigation to enable the profile options:
- Go to Settings and Actions and Click on Setup and maintenance
- Click on Search on the Tasks icon
- Search for “Manage Administrator Profile Values”

2. Enable Profile Options:
- Enable the below-mentioned profile options to enable the Redwood Goals creation page

- Search for the Profile option code and set the value accordingly.

3. Access Goal Plans:
- Go to My Client Groups and click on Goals.

- Click on the Goal Plan Name

- Click on Add to Navigate to the Goals creation page

4. View Redwood Enabled Goals Page:
- The Redwood Enabled Goals creation page will be displayed.

Note: The button to use AI assistance isn’t enabled by default. The administrator needs to make this button visible using Visual Builder Studio.
II. Enable the AI assist button using Visual Builder studio
Steps to enable the AI to assist button:
1. Edit Page:
- Go to Settings and Actions >> Click on the Edit page in Visual Builder Studio

2. Configure AI Assist Button:
- By default, the SHOW_AI_ASSIST button is set to false.

- Set the value to true to enable the USE AI ASSIST button.

3. Publish Changes:
- Select “Publish” to make the changes live.

4. Verify AI Assist Button:
- The image below shows that the Use AI ASSIST button was enabled after making the necessary changes using VBS.

5. Use AI Assistance:
- Enter the Goal name and click the Use AI Assist button to automatically generate the data under the goal description and success criteria fields.

Note: The goal description and success criteria fields need to be visible for these details to be populated by AI assistance.
