Kibana Analytics on PeopleSoft General Ledger – PeopleSoft FSCM Image 37
Oracle has introduced some cool features in the latest Image 37 and Kibana is one of them. Kibana dashboard is enabled in Contract and General Ledger modules. This gives pretty good insights of the Contracts and General Ledger data without having to create or customize any analytics (pivot tables) or reports. Following are the Kibana Dashboards delivered in General Ledger Module.
- Financial Position Trending
- Financial Performance Analysis
- GL Operational Insights

Financial Position Trending
Using Financial Position Trending dashboard, financial managers can analyze the financial positions and transactions for a selected data range. They can add or update any filter to narrow down the trending chart view depending on your requirement. In general, Closing Journal and Statistical Journals will be excluded here to get charts meaningful.
And they can use Account and Department trees to drilldown the details simply by mentioning the tree and node values. Account filter can have five tree levels and the Department tree filter can have up to three levels.

From the Journal Details they can directly navigate to the actual journal by simply clicking “View Journal”.
Financial Performance Analysis
This dashboard gives the yearly performance of the business. We can give Business Unit, Currency and Ledger to compare performance with other fiscal years. By default closing journals are filtered and statistical journals are excluded.
