The Journey is a one-stop app available from the 21A upgrade, that aims to facilitate employees during their personal and professional transitions. Journey enables the user to manage their tasks effectively in a single application where the users can use the checklist of any category say pre-boarding, onboarding, off-boarding, and track or manage their tasks more efficiently.
Journeys can be enabled using the ORA_PER_JOURNEYS_ENABLED profile option.
By default, this profile option is set to N. If you set this site level option as Y use can use the Journeys to manage the checklist of all categories is it pre-defined or user-defined from a single place?

How to enable Journey in the system:
To Enable Journey in the System
Navigate to Task >> Setup and Maintenance >> search >> Manage Administrator Profile Values >> search >> ORA_PER_JOURNEYS_ENABLED.
The Administrator Profile value page will be displayed. Set the Site as Y and Save and Close.
Journeys in Employee Self-service:
The Journey can be assigned to any worker and they can access the Journey from the below navigation:
- All Journeys are available on the Employee landing page once the Employee opens the Me >> JOURNEY.
- Employees can open the Specific Journey and can able to see the Task Progress Status.
- The Employee once Completes their task, the corresponding task icon will be changed to a tick mark so that the Employee can able to find the completed task from the list of Journeys.
- When the Journeys were assigned to the Employee, then he will be clicking on the appropriate action tab for completing the task. Based on the configuration, three actions will be available for employees.
- Managers can access Journey under : Navigator >> My Team >> Journeys
- HR can manage and track the entire organization’s journeys tasks under the: Navigator >> My Clientgroups >> Journeys
- Manager and HR Specialist landing page lists all the Journeys of their associates based on the data security and displays the real-time status of the Journey
- The HR and Line Manager can able to access other’s journeys and can monitor the completion of the task and make the task as complete.
- The HR and manager can also edit the due date of the task for an employee, Reassign the Completed journey and Remove the Journey from the list.
- The Journey can also be sent as a reminder for the employee to do the task.
- The Journey acts as a single user interface to manage all the checklists and ease in performing the tasks.
- Workers can able to mark the task as Done without opening or accessing the task.
- To perform the action of configurable forms or questionnaires, then the users will be redirected to the ADF responsive pages.
