Overview of Graphical Representation in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence
Initially, FDI admins with licensed roles and privileges will log into the FDI administrative console, where they can access the End User FDI login page. Additionally, top HR management can log in directly from the FDI URL. For better understanding, we will begin the demonstration from the Admin Console page.
- Step 1: Log in to the Administration Console for FDI.
- Step 2: Click on ‘Go to Home Page’ to access the FDI page, which will be visible to the end user.

- Below is the FDI home page, where all the pre-built workbooks related to Oracle HCM modules will be available.
Note: These workbooks will be functional, once the data migration for each module has been completed initially.

- A pre-built workbook related to Core HR will be selected to explore its features for a better understanding of the visualization.

- This workbook relates to the headcount of employees in the organization, gender count, and other metrics.

- The steps outlined below provide a simple demonstration of how to edit or modify graphs and extract more information from the pre-built workbooks.
- Select any graph to view in more detail.
- To add extra fields to the graph, it’s just like an OTBI report—Simply drag and drop the fields.

- Editing the original graph is not recommended.
- Instead of modifying it, create a duplicate visualization.
- In the duplicate, convert the graph into a table format for better tracking of headcount values.

- To verify these headcount values with HCM reports (BIP or OTBI), return to the Administration Console.
- Under Application Administration, click on Data Validation to carry out the verification.
